who else if not me?
Yeah.
I admit it.
I am quite straight forward and don't know how to "turn" like many people said.
In education, workplace, as long places where there will be some "authorities", I tend to follow rules.
I having "trouble" with this kind of attitude too.
Why I framed up the word trouble?
Because I don't see it as trouble like how others might see it was.
It could be true that I am stubborn and resist to change,
but to take risk that can be so easy to eliminated never seems to be a smart move for me either.
It is quite true what my brother has said,
don't bother what others are saying.
what you need is an good, specific, reliable answer,
not from any "ah chu" or "ah kao",
just directly asks the person in-charge.
It might be a bit extreme in his case,
for really reject all others' opinion are kind of disrespect to them, i feel.
I running something in between, middle in the scale,
accept the variety of the answers, and used that as my questions,
to approach the person who can provide me the legitimate answer.
So that, when i ask, i am backed with diverse of opinions.
I could get the most out of it.
Laymen can never avoid mistakes.
That's the reason getting wide range of opinions are never a stupid act.
But when it is too overwhelming, it could be distressing too.
Especially when you deal with someone who have some "ego" in themselves,
believing they are right, but they can't assure you that they are firm with their answer.
It is then after you get the right answer, they will like: See! Told you! you don't believe me.
I don't think few ml of salivas will be a waste if I can get something that is truly firm and cool.
worth to give it a shot, isn't it?
Another things will be in workplace.
I am quite punctual, I would said, i mean, when I really want it to be, especially when the work requires me to act like one.
says for example, RM10 on punctuality.
Wow! Surprisingly, that effect is strong on me.
I couldn't bear for any misbehave this time.
wanted to reach that place at 9 when it is 9.30 that I supposed to be there.
break time is 45 mins, but wishes to back to workplace in 40 mins.
I just don't want any possible excuses from the employer that I've break the rules.
Not even a single one.
They asked to wear shower cap, and mask when do sampling, i followed.
Never once I take it off, unless I went for break, regardless how ugly I looked.
I know where this genes come from.
From my dad.
I've been educated by him to follow laws and rules, and it is not a novel norms to follow
what authority said in Chinese tradition.
Of course I am not saying others who using shortcut or remains to take risk is wrong.
It is just not me.
It is something like, I don't judge you, and who you are to judge me that I am wrong?
In fact, I do take shortcut and take risks in certain circumstances,
in something which I think no real harm for doing so.
Contradicting isn't it?
How can a risk called as one when there is no harm associated with it.
Who cares?
that's my way of giving excuses.
Bye.
