07 December 2009

Very early in the Monday morning (It's 1am now),
I killed a cockroach.
Not literally kill like I hit or squeeze the yucky thing out from its body,
but rather I used "Baygon- Cockroach Control".
*It's effective! It died less than 10 second. Amazed by the effect.

Why am I posting this simple little matter?
It is because that I actually felt guilty for killing this little cockroach,
which I will never felt so before now.
Conscience is taking his great role isn't it?

This was how it goes.
I came home, clothes-off, went to toilet...
STOP! go backward...
Just before I go to toilet,
I saw something which I first thought is a big insect
(I know cockroach is insect also, but what was in my mind is something else.)
simply because it has two wings going up(are they still called wings for insect?)
like a jet plane going to flies off.
Once I came closer and realize it is a cockroach,
I was stunned and step back quickly as though it's something very dangerous.
I've been traumatized by it before as because of it, there is one 3 to 4 cm scar at my forehead.
*Don't get me wrong! That scar wasn't a result of cockroach bite or "slash",
but it is me that behaved out of control (I scare flying cockroach, @.@) and bang myself to the edge of something solid. @@

Due to past experience,
though I carried much hesitation as to think whether to kill the poor little thing,
in the end, it couldn't survive overnight.
Seeing it struggling to the death,
I felt a moment of sympathize though I am the killer.
Second thought came in thinking that it is suffering slowly by the "cockroach killer",
suffocated to the death. I spray two or three times more again.
Dying fast should be a better way for it at the very moment.
I still feel myself being so selfish as a human that
sizes and intelligent are the matters to control over other species.
Killing out of conscience and yet receive little or no punishment over what I've done.
Why there is none rules established to jailed people who killed cockroach as well?
Simply because they are dirty, virus-carrier and therefore, receive no regard as a life?
It certainly do leads to deeper thought for me.

I think I can't be a perfect husband
as I might not be killing the insect and cockroach if they choose to invade my house.

Guess this is the end of my post.
I'm not to be sarcastic in this post, but it is something that I've really came through.
The "dead corpse" is still sticking (I really do spray a lot. =.='") on the floor.

Night then.

Ps: Comments are always welcome, especially for grammar correction.
Don't worry! I will only feel grateful to it. ^^
